I’m excited…Memorial Day weekend kicks off the start of barbeque season and strawberry season!  Fresh strawberries are largely displayed in most supermarkets. I actually love to buy mine at my local Farmer’s Market. They taste amazing!

How to Choose and Store

Choose brightly colored plump berries that still have green stems attached.  Don’t wash them until ready to use.  Discard any moldy or damaged ones.  Store strawberries in the refrigerator in layers separated by paper towels inside a plastic container or sealed bag.
